Hantec Group always keeps fulfilling social corporate responsibilities, as well as cares for the physical and mental health of colleagues. This year, we cooperated with the New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association again and arranged colleagues to conduct volunteer activity at the Kwai Shing Sheltered Workshop on the afternoon of October 27, 2023. 

Our volunteer team participated in the food sharing project and distributed food to more than 100 elderly, low-income family members and other people in need in the community with our cares and love. Meanwhile, we also visited the sheltered workshops to understand more on daily operations and facilities related to mental rehabilitation. 

The food distributed during the event includes leftover food such as vegetables, fruits and bread that are still edible, as well as rice and dry food donated by charities. The organic black soymilk and organic tofu donated by the Hantec Group were purchased from drinks330, a social enterprise affiliated with the New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association. While providing healthy food to the beneficiaries, we can also support for providing opportunities for people in recovery of mental illness to make contribution to the society. The project aims to raise public awareness of food shortage, promote mental health and enhance inclusive society.
